Product Description
These resources provide an overview of European Imperialism from 1880-1914. Topics touched on include the reasons for imperialism, the Berlin Conference, the Scramble for Africa, the White Man's Burden, the Boer War, British imperialism in India, the Sepoy Rebellion, and imperialism in China and Japan including the Boxer Rebellion and Matthew Perry. There are appropriate images, maps, political cartoons, and recap questions in the slides. It is a brief overview of the unit because different schools focus more or less on some topics within Imperialism than others.
