Students will use error analysis to learn the steps of solving two-step equations. The lesson is broken up into three steps.
1.) First students will look for errors given the equation, work and answer. Then they will be asked to identify the error, and fix it.
2.) Then students will be given the equation and the answer. They will need to make sure their work results in the correct answer.
3.) The last step is just giving the students the equation. Once the students work through all of the problems, they will use a QR Code to check their answers. For each question, they will check to see if they solved the equation correctly. If not, they will have to identify their error and fix it.
