Looking for a fun way to get students engaged and moving around the classroom? This scavenger hunt does just that. In this activity students will be up and moving while practicing evaluating expressions.
This scavenger hunt includes 13 problems (common core aligned) that focus on evaluating expressions using the order of operations. It comes in both black and white and color, has two different student recording sheet options, a teacher direction page, and a teacher answer key.
To begin the scavenger hunt students answer an evaluating expressions problem. The answer to the math problem will lead them to their next question. Students continue answering questions until they get back to the card they started with.
Scavenger hunt cards can be placed around the classroom, in the hallways, or outside.
