I use this assignment with my Introduction to Business and Marketing course when I teach Advertising. This assignment provides 10 groups with 3 types of ads. Students will then work in their groups to complete the questions for each ad assigned to their group.
To determine the effectiveness of the ad students will examine:
Type of ad
Techniques of ad
Internet access would be required for the commercials. Depending on your students, you could also have them present their findings and evaluations to the class as an oral project.
