Product Description
In your anxiety prevention teaching, it is important that kids realize that first of all, everyone has worries and secondly, not all worries are the same. Because a lot of kids who suffer from anxiety may have difficulty seeing the "gray" or that some things really don't cause us that much worry, using a worry thermometer is a great visual tool to explain this abstract concept to your student. We use a popular sports star and several common anxiety provoking examples to show that it's not either I feel like a 10 or I feel like a 1. This work will eventually assist you when you start to do your desensitization or exposure work.
