This function composition worksheet and key consists of 22 problems where students are asked to evaluate compositions f(g(x)) and g(f(x)) given two functions. There are two problems where they compose a function with itself (f(f(x)) and g(g(x))) and one word problem. I've also included two problems where the functions given are inverses of one another to provide a resource to talk about how to determine if functions are inverses of one another. The functions included in the items are linear, quadratic, rational, radical, and cubic providing a wide variety in practice. I have used this primarily as homework in my Algebra 2 classes and as a quiz in my Pre-Calculus classes.
