The packet also includes editable and printable worksheets for an online student activity evaluating websites and access to a Google Site featuring links to 14 digital resources for your students to apply their knowledge through review, analysis, and evaluation.
Differentiated handouts are included to ensure learning success with your students who have differing ability levels.

Common Core State Standards specify that students conduct short as well as more sustained research projects; narrow or broaden research inquiries when appropriate; synthesize multiple sources on their subjects, and to demonstrate an understanding of the subject under their investigation.

This teaching packet provides teachers with the tools needed to ensure students can locate quality digital texts, make informed choices when accessing and selecting online resources in their research, and activities for students to gain the skills needed in order to reach an understanding of their research through the process of accessing, selecting, and synthesizing quality information.
