PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This bundle includes:

1) FOUR articles (PDF) exploring multiple sides of youth sports [in schools]. Students will read information on both sides of the debate: are sports dangerous, costly, and ultimately not beneficial to students, or do they offer benefits with long-lasting positive effects?

2) NON-EDITABLE organizers (2 different activities) - First, students will read each of the four articles (I have them in small groups for this activity). Within their groups, students will identify the claims and counterclaims (pros/cons) from each article, citing evidence as they read. During the second activity, students will independently sift through the evidence they collected to support both sides of the claim (claim-->proof). Both activities take about a week to complete.

3) EDITABLE organizers (same as above). The custom fonts used will most likely not be compatible with your computer, but feel free to edit to meet the needs of your students.
