This is a great 20-25 minute activity which allows students to explore and work on their own or with a partner. This works well for English Language Learners too.
There are two methods which can be used, the preferred method is to print this activity 8 pages to a sheet, so all the slides onto one sheet. Run off a class set and then cut each sheet. This allows each student to have their own little set of cards which they can manipulate and move around. They work the problem on one card, and then use that answer to find their next card. Use the same sets for every class. Students usually prefer this method.
The second method is to print each slide to its own page, hang them around the room, and allow the students to move around and figure out where each sheet will send them next.
The final sheet is an answer document which can be copied for each student, and provides an easy way for each student to record their answers and find the next page in the loop.
