Product Description
This lesson bundle is a great way to review evaluating expressions at specific values. This lesson includes a flashback on identifying parts of algebraic expressions. Then moves in a quick whole class review. To assess students mastery on evaluating numerical & real world expressions at specific values - there are 12 stations to post around the room.

{REVIEW STATION ACTIVITY}

At each station students will substitute for the variable & solve using the order of operations. {Equal mix of numerical & real world expressions}. As they evaluate the expression at each stations- students will get a letter clue to the riddle "Why didn't the two 4's want any dinner?" Once finished with all stations students will have the answer. Activity Handout included. Exit Slip to end lesson included.

This review activity is congruently aligned with CCSS 6.EE.2c.

6.EE.2c Write,read and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers.

c. Evaluate expressions at specific values of their variables. Include expressions that arise from formulas used in real- world problems. Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations).
