This is a one-sided practice sheet with 10 questions over evaluating expressions in standard form. The student is given an equation in standard form and either x and y, and asked to find the other value and then write their answer as an ordered pair. This practice sheet was designed to combat student's struggle with solving systems by the elimination method and plugging the first value back into the equation to get the second value. Therefore, this sheet is intended to be used prior to teaching the elimination method. This could also be used just as an evaluating expressions practice. Key included.
