Algebra students evaluate functions at numerical and polynomial values in this math pennant activity that doubles as colorful Spring or Easter classroom decor.
Student groups are given a large egg with functions and a stack of pennants with problems to evaluate. Each pennant has 2 functions for students to evaluate given numerical or polynomial values.
There are 20 pennants with numerical values (40 problems) and 10 pennants with polynomial values (20 problems). Between all pennants there are 60 problems. Includes an optional student answer sheet and answer key. Once each pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to evaluate functions!"
