This is a one-sided practice page with 20 questions on evaluating functions written in function notation. Nine different functions are given and range from easy f(x) = 3x to hard J(x) = -x^2 + x - 4. Students are asked to evaluate the function (Find f(5)) or to evaluate a composition of functions such as 6f(4) or H(1) - J(1). The hardest question asks for them to evaluate F(1) + G(1) + H(1) + J(1) and all 4 functions are quadratics in standard form. Key included.
