This PowerPoint bingo game is a great way to encourage students to actively practice how to evaluate simple functions.
25 questions require students to write the given function, substitute a given value into the function, and then solve. After the students have their final answer, simply press the green box on each slide to reveal the answer.
I like to have my students use a poor man's whiteboard (just a piece of white paper in a sheet protector) and dry erase marker to write down the functions, show their work and get their final answer. The use of the "whiteboard" encourages more active participation and engagement.
Also included are 10 different bingo cards to have students compete for that elusive "BINGO!"
