Product Description
This product is part of my Digital Literacy Bundle.

Teach your students how to evaluate and rate websites based on the 5 W's criteria: who, what, where, when and why.

What is included:

13 slide PowerPoint introduction/lesson
3 worksheets for students to use to evaluate websites
7 posters about the 5 W's
Bookmarks to hand out with the 5 W's rule on them

The PowerPoint introduction teaches students the basics of website evaluation and why it's important. There is a slide with vocabulary words and one slide for each of the rules. The PowerPoint can not be edited.

I also included a list of hoax websites that you can use with students to illustrate the importance of website evaluation. There is also a list of credible websites that you can use for comparison. There are links to 2 videos that I have used in the past that also review the topic.

The worksheets can be used as a review or assessment to check the student's understanding of the concepts.
