Instead of writing comments 200 times over when marking, how about a checklist? Watch the time spent on your marking decrease from hours to just minutes now by using a checklist. Edit, photocopy, trim and staple this evaluation comment sheet to each students' project or assignment and never spend hours and hours on marking again!
I use this at the end of the term when students are expected to keep their booklets or notebooks organized. Teaches them ongoing responsibility because they will know you will collect at the end of the course. Instead of collecting each individual assignment, how about collecting it all at the end as a booklet and give them a collective mark for filling out their recipes, assignments and for a complete book. I've also collected it mid way and have given them a progress report or mark.
The progress report or mark evaluation is also another evaluation sheet that is printed on their title page that I provide them. This title page with the checklist is also available for purchase.
