PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Use this fun Halloween themed activity to teach or reinforce the concept of even and odd. Use pieces of candy (M&Ms, Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, etc.) to let students determine if an amount is even or odd. Students will sort the amount of candy into the two trick or treat sacks and if the amount is fair for both "Trick-or-Treaters" then the student will know that it is even. This can be used as whole group and an amount of candy can be given by the teacher for each box, or it can be used at a station where students will have a variety of bags of candy, each with a different amount in them.
