This is a worksheet I use in my second grade classroom at the beginning of teaching even and odd numbers. It can be used for practice or homework (you could even use it has a quick assessment). The students are determining even or odd by showing their group in the boxes. The example shows even or odd determined by using pairs in the circles.
It is a word document so you can change the numbers for each problem if you wish.
Determine whether a group of objects (up to 20) has an odd or even number of members, e.g., by pairing objects or counting them by 2s; write an equation to express an even number as a sum of two equal addends.
