Product Description
This product aligns with GoMath! Chapter 4 (Lesson 7)

This product includes:
3 "Slap Mats"

Suggested Use:
Students will practice using the patterns:
odd X odd = odd
odd X even =even
even X even = even

Print the task cards and "Slap Mats" on card stock or on regular printer paper- laminating will help them last longer!
Print multiple "Slap Mats" to include more players in the game.

The task cards and "Slap Mats" can be used with the answer key in a student-run math center.

To Play:
Mix up the multiplication task cards and put them face down in a pile.
Players will take turns flipping over the task cards so that all players can read the multiplication fact.

Players will use the patterns:
odd X odd = odd
odd X even =even
even X even = even
to determine whether the product of the multiplication fact is even or odd.
The first player to slap the correct hand on his or her "Slap Mat" keeps the task card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
