This free resource uses drag and drop technology that allows students to click and drag objects--in this case, numbers--into predefined areas.
The only software you need for this file to run is Google's free Chrome browser. (Actually, it should run under other modern browsers, but I tested it out exclusively on Chrome, the only browser I use.)
This resource is great for a classroom (or lab) equipped with several computers. Just load the file onto a shared network folder, and all students can easily access it. These drag and drop resources also work well for use with small groups or one-on-one settings.
The pages in these drag and drop resources are designed to be used as formative assessments. After the student completes the task on a page, the answer(s) should be checked by the teacher or a peer checker before the student goes on to the next item.
As with all the items I have available, this file has been kid-tested and developed by a veteran teacher dedicated to promoting math fluency and skill mastery.
