Do these scenarios sound familiar?
You spend too much time at the copier finding an activity for each student.
Your groups are filled with students who all have different goals - How can you work on everybody's goals at once?
You can't find age-appropriate materials that mirror the curriculum.
"Every Goal" Speech Therapy Units are your solution to these common problems for the junior high and high school speech therapist.
"Every Goal" Speech Therapy Units are made for students in 6-12th grades. All units are designed around an informational article that DIRECTLY correlates to all of the accompanying activities. Simply read the article with the group and hand out assignments or ask questions based on the goals of EACH INDIVIDUAL student. "Every Goal" units work great for whole-class instruction too! Your prep work is eliminated, and you have more time to focus on your students.
Always included materials:
Informational article that DIRECTLY relates to all worksheets.
Comprehension worksheets (main idea, details, critical reasoning)
Topics and activities for sequencing and narratives. (great for expressive language, written language, articulation, and fluency practice)
Pragmatics unit with problem solving, role play, behavior analysis, and/or figurative language activities.
Grammar activities for common error patterns.
A vocabulary unit of 5-10 tier 2 words, vocabulary activities, and a post test.
Bonus activities periodically included.

One more example to show you how I use these great units...
Student A: working on vocabulary and grammar
Student B: working on fluency
Student C: working on social skills
-All students listen to student B read an article about Walt Disney.
-The SLP does periodic comprehension checks for all.
*Student A begins working on the vocabulary packet from words included in the article (context clues and sentence writing always included)
*Student B will complete the narrative activity (example: discuss a personal failure and how you were able to overcome it)
*Student C will complete the pragmatics packet that includes figurative language and problem solving questions that relate back to the Walt Disney article.
-The SLP rotates through the students to make sure there are no questions and reviews/provides support as needed.
