Helping our students develop Alphabetic Principle is a primary instructional goal during their Kindergarten year. This is not a program, but rather an opportunity to stop and celebrate a letter/sound when the time is right. In Autumn, you may want to enjoy highlighting Apples, and the letter A/a. One week you may want to celebrate the letter P/p by learning about pigs and punctuation or inviting a police officer to class.
