This quick and easy FREEBIE has two sets of workspaces for your kiddos. Each set has a workspace for finding arrays at school and at home. The first set is for newbies and asks for repeated addition sentences.
The second set is for students ready to move on to multiplication. The repeated addition section is replaced with a box for multiplication sentences.
The way I use this:
In groups of 2 or 3, I send students on an array hunt around the classroom, quad area, and playground to find arrays in our environment. Then, I send the other sheet home for more practice, and hopefully some good conversations with mom and dad about math in our everyday environment!
I hope your kids enjoy this activity as much as mine did!
Let’s make math fun EVERYDAY!
