Play this card game in groups of three or four. Shuffle the cards and place them in the middle face down. Player 1 takes a card and asks the question on the card. Player 2 and 3 try to guess the answer first. Player 1 gives the card to the first player to guess correctly. The player to the left takes the next turn. The player with the most cards at the end is the winner.
This game promotes vocabulary development and a greater control and awareness of everyday vocabulary. The repetitive nature of the questions "What do use...?" in the the first half of the question allows learners to automatize the question stem. A preview of vocabulary can help learners guess more effectively and make the game more enjoyable.
You get 9 pages with 12 cards on each page. Each of the 108 cards has an original black and white line drawing illustration by Pat Stephens.
