I am a leadership teacher, and I created this activity to help my students understand that ordinary people can be leaders. The topic for this Ted Talk is part of a five-part series on leadership skills. I specifically selected this episode, because it introduces the idea that all of us are leaders, and that leaders are created with their everyday actions. Drew Dudley, the host of this Ted Talk, calls on us to celebrate leadership as the everyday act of improving each other's lives. It is a great story with a powerful message.
Students listen to the audio of the Ted Talk (link provided) and then complete a teacher created graphic organizer. This product comes with a key and a blank graphic organizer. Ready to print and read to use! Enjoy!
