I believe the Everyday Math Games are an important and effective part of the program. I found when I was not organized or ready for the games, I would just skip that part. So I created an organization system, so I was always ready for the games. Also, if all materials are in a certain spot the kids can play the games when they finish early or have some extra time.
In this download you will find a chevron themed directions page for the following games:
Money Exchange Game
Number Grid Game
Beat the Calculator Addition
Doubles or Nothing
Name that Number
The Difference Game
The Digit Game
Spinning for Money
Fact Extension Game
Hit the Target
Equivalent Fractions Game
Beat the Calculator Multiplication
Addition Card Draw
In addition to game directions, some games have a work mat or "bank" mat to help them better organize the materials. (I can't stand when they are playing a game and there stuff is all over the place and an absolute mess).
You will also find a label page to put in the inside of the folders to label where you store the recording sheets and other materials.
This game pack will help the teacher:
--organize games throughout the year in bins, folders, manilla envelopes or baggies for continuous use
--determine when the game is introduced
--label materials needed for each game
You will still need the game masters, I did not recreate these in any way, shape, or form because I want them to recognize the game materials from first grade or when they go on to the upper grades.
Thanks for downloading. If there is a game you would like me to add please let me know!
Let me know if there are any errors and I will gladly fix them!
