Does your school have Everyday Math? The built-in daily assessments are a terrific tool for formatively monitoring your students’ progress through each unit. But since they’re in your students’ math journals, accessing that information isn’t always so easy. And each lesson is jam-packed with lots of activities for your students, but how do you manage to keep track of how your students are doing?
That’s where these Guided Math Anecdotal Notes Using Sticky Notes comes in: simply print out the corresponding unit’s two-page spread for each of your math groups, place them in a three-pronged folder or three-hole-punch binder. On each square place a sticky note for each student to add notes as you move through the unit.
Don’t do Guided Math? No problem! This system will still help you keep track of your students’ progress without stressing you out!
