This sheet gives space for students to make crayon rubbings of items made of wood, metal, plastic and fabric. Students choose an object, place it under the paper, and use the flat side of a crayon to make a wax rubbing of the object. It could be included as a page in students’ science journals while exploring everyday materials and their properties.
