I created this pack to be used with the book of the same name, but it can also be used independently.
For PreK and Kindergarten students, as well as other students struggling with the concepts of counting and colors, this is a fun pack that has students matching colors with the Robertsons and their favorite animal: the duck. I used this with special needs PreK (2 and 3 year olds), Kindergarten, and Autism classes.
Four activities are included in this pack:
Copy Si and his beard on cardstock; laminate for durability. Glue the same colored buttons on clothespins or use colored clips. Students match the colored clip/clothespin to the dots on Si's beard.
Copy the color cards on cardstock; laminate for durability. Glue the same colored buttons on clothespins or use colored clips. Students match the clips/clothespins to each colored dot
Copy for each student. You can read the matching book with students and have them color the sheet
*I Spy a Duck
Print and laminate or place the duck page in a page
protector. Copy the recording page for each student
Tally and graph the different colored ducks (students can either write the number of ducks or color in the squares)
