Take the guesswork out of treatment word selection! Research shows us that kids learn sounds better and faster when we use a smaller pool of words selected based on specific linguistic characteristics.
This pack contains worksheets for initial /r/ and 5 vocalic contexts (er, ar, ear, air, and or). Each worksheet contains picture cards for six target words with a high frequency and low neighborhood density to promote maximum generalization of progress to untreated words! These cards can be cut out and used as flashcards or left intact as a worksheet for a variety of open-ended activities.
Please note - these words were selected for children with articulation disorders (that is, difficulty with the production of a small number of sounds). For products geared towards children with broader phonological disorders, check out the Evidence-Based Treatment Words for Phonological Disorders: Singleton Bundle
