Students create a one page foldable to review of the 4 lines of evidence for evolution typically studied in middle school (fossil record, morphology, homologous structures, embryology). The accompanying slide deck serves simply as support for students who may not have taken extensive notes during the activities and lessons where the concepts were more thoroughly explained. As an added bonus, the speaker notes in the deck include links to all the specific lessons I use to teach the concepts.
The foldable can be used by students as a study guide. Its creation is simple enough that it can also be left as part of your sub-plans.
The download includes:
Access to the slide deck: Clicking on the link or slides will force a copy of the slide deck.
Foldable template: This should be printed back to back to create a simple one page foldable. The template includes directions for students, and the download also includes links to force copies of the original files in case you'd like to modify them.
