In this lesson, students will work through five major types of evidence of evolution (anatomical, molecular, fossil, vestigial structures, and embryological development). This is a great resource for the paperless classroom and can be used as stations, class work, or in many other ways.
They will read (short passages) and look at data and diagrams to draw conclusions about how these represent evidence for evolution. They will be able to move pieces to sequence fossils, and match pictures to descriptions.
Then they can answer some short questions about their findings, and summarize the types of evidence for evolution.
Also included is a printable paper version as well, if the teacher prefers, or if the student needs it.
Students will love showing their knowledge on a digital interactive file. It gives a way for them to create a product, and be more creative in note taking or reviewing.

Teacher instructions are given for use in Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or many other digital platforms. Included are detailed directions to share to many commonly used school apps and platforms.
This could easily be done as a unit intro, a final assessment, a pre-or post-lab activity, or even as a project to complete at home or with a sub if internet access is available.
My students really liked this project, and did excellent work!
