This document contains a great resource for identifying and understanding the evidence for evolution. Students must read various scenarios and identify the evidence for evolution and analyze the information it provides to our modern day understanding of evolution. Students also color various bones in order to illustrate homologous structures. The final section requires students to write a letter, responding to a newspaper article which states that evolution is unsupported and "just a theory."
Topics covered in this document: Evolution, Anatomical Evidence, Homologous Structures, Analogous Structures, Molecular Evidence, Embryological Evidence, Fossil Record Evidence, Evidence for Evolution.
