PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity allows students to work in groups analyzing evolutionary relationships between three species: crocodile, whale, and bat. Students must research to determine which organisms are more closely related using homologous structures, evolutionary trees, biochemical evidence, and/or molecular evidence.

Also included is a nice post-lab activity to the NYS Living Environment Relationships and Biodiversity State Lab. A great extension activity after completing the state lab.

Full answer key is included.
