Calculate the exact value of all 6 trigonometric functions when given a point on the terminal side of an angle in standard position.
This activity can be used for a group activity, a partner activity, stations or task cards.
Directions: Start with Question 1. Lay question 1 down with the problem side up. Solve the problem. Locate the answer on the back of the other cards. When the correct answer is located, the card with the correct answer is the next problem to solve. Lay it on top of Question 1 card. Continue solving the problems, stacking the cards one on top of the other. When there is only 1 card remaining, solve the problem. The correct answer to the last card should be on the back of question card 1 at the bottom of the pile of cards. Flip the whole pile over to reveal the last question card’s answer.
There are 10 question cards.
The questions are worked in order, which increases the rigor and makes it more of a challenge.
The answer key is included.
When I use this activity in my classroom, I have 6 sets of cards printed on different color paper and laminated. I store the card sets in a baggie. I have my class get in groups of 3 and I pass out the cards. Everyone has to work the problems and agree on the correct answers. At the end of the activity, I have each group turn in one copy of the group’s work.

I welcome all feedback and ratings. I work hard to ensure that the items that I share are neat, useful and accurate. Although I do my best to catch errors in content or format, I am human and as such, I am subject to make mistakes. If you discover an error or experience some form of technical difficulties with my items, I would appreciate the opportunity to correct the problem before a low rating and/or negative feedback is left. Simply submit the issue under the “Ask a Question” tab and I will do my best to resolve it in a timely manner. Also, please keep in mind that due to differences in printer settings, the documents may not align properly (when applicable). The alignment issues should be easily fixed by tweaking your printer settings.
