Fairy tales are a great way in which to study different points of view. Fractured fairy tales can easily be compared to their original fairy tale counterpart to examine how point of view can change characters and the plot of a story.
This graphic organizer allows students to compare a fairy tale and a fractured fairy tale (for example, The 3 Little Pigs and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs). As a class, or individually, you find the common parts of the fairy tale (characters, events, setting etc...) and then find the characters' thoughts, beliefs, or feelings about that story part.
There are many organizer options for you to choose from!
Front side Option 1: Examining Point of View with Fractured FAIRY Tales Organizer with Carriage and Princess (Color and B/W)
Front side Option 2: Examining Point of View with Fractured FAIRY Tales Organizer with Castle (Color and B/W)
Front side Option 3:
Examining Point of View with Fractured FAIRY Tales Organizer with Drawing Space
Front side Option 4: Examining Point of View with Fractured FOLK Tales Organizer with Lion and Mouse (Color and B/W)
Front side Option 5: Examining Point of View with Fractured FOLK Tales Organizer with Drawing Space
And a backside for all the above pages with 4 more set of boxes.
This is also a great writing tool to plan a fractured fairy tale.
