Trying to figure out how to teach your 7th graders to examine the impact of certain factors on individual nations' economies, and compare their economic systems? I was too.
This time-saving bundle combines three activities, one for each unit in 7th grade Social Studies. Each activity includes a text for students to read and analyze, a structured and color-coded way for students to take notes on specific information, and a final activity that requires them to evaluate the strength of each country's economy based on textual evidence of economic factors. I use these three activities in my own classroom and have found them very valuable for providing my kids with a real-world context for the economic concepts we have learned about in class. And one of my favorite things about the activity is that it combines lots of vocabulary and skills that we have been building throughout each unit.
