Fitness testing can sometimes be very overwhelming, especially for us teachers who need to grade our students to get them motivated! My students do not try their best on fitness tests unless they are graded on them. This Excel spreadsheet will help you grade your students on progress and individual improvement for the following fitness tests: 20 meter pacer test, push up test, curl up test, sit and reach test, FLEX arm hang, and 4 minute jump rope test. In this Excel Spreadsheet, you enter a student's name and gender, and based on the student's gender, their scores will differ. Once you enter in a student's score, their grade (on a scale from 1-4) will appear based on the fitness rubrics I have inputted into the Excel document. There are very lengthy formulas in this document that are entered for the "Pre test" column AND "Post Test" column. BETTER YET!!! This document calculates your students' percentage of growth from their pre to post tests as well and will help you calculate their final grade if you want to give students "bonus points" for improving over a certain percentage!
