Grading tests SUCK. Especially when you're trying to teach under the Comprehensible Input umbrella AND have close to 200 students.
A couple of years ago this was me, struggling to be the best possible Spanish teacher to my 200+ students while also not destroying my personal time and health. My response was to start teaching out of novels and create a 5 part test for every couple of chapters or so. The five parts being: Listening, Reading, Culture, writing, and Speaking. Ideally, I would move to culture as a part of the other four (something I eventually did after for my Spanish 2 and up classes).
As a part of this exploration to be the best possible, sustainable teacher, I created this test grading excel spreadsheet template to minimize the amount of time it takes to grade tests. This exact excel sheet is tailored directly to the Berto y Sus Buenas Ideas tests that are now for sale in my store. You can easily change the template to fit your teacher needs.
