Product Description
The first step in exchanging (or in old terms regrouping) numbers is knowing that there are 10 ones in a ten and 10 tens in a hundred. This activity can be used as a center, partner or individually, it will allow students to understand you can build numbers more than one way. Once students recognized this they can start exchanging in subtraction problems.
