Students learn about the executive branch of the federal government by engaging in a collaborative reading strategy. Students take a 1 - minute learning styles survey to determine which of the three given tasks they will complete. Visual learners follow instructions to create a graphic organizer. Auditory learners following instructions to create a paraphrased recording. Kinesthetic learners followin instructions to match executive department with scenario, then create a symbol to represent each department.
