Product Description
This exemplar--which I illustrated and wrote myself--is to show students what a visual metaphor is. It is designed to go along with the rubric sheet for an Art/Text assignment for Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. The idea is to have students use the rubric sheet, and specifically, the rubric for the visual metaphor, to assess this exemplar and be able to articulate why and how it would earn the score (according to that rubric) that it would earn, thus making them more familiar with the rubric and what the expectations are for the assignment.
