Print each of the 7 different "Exercise Bingo Partner Cards" on a different colored piece of paper. Make multiple copies of each of the Exercise Bingo Cards so you have enough for half of your biggest class. Laminate the cards so you have them to use over and over again. Also, print out and laminate the 35 "Exercise Bingo Wall Cards."
Put the students into partner pairs. Each group will get a clip-board with an "Exercise Bingo Partner Card" on it and a dry erase marker. Taped to the wall on around the gym will be the "Exercise Bingo Wall Cards" covered with a scrap piece of paper so that the exercises are hidden from the students.
To begin, have the partner in the pair that has the clip board will choose for the group about which taped paper they will go to around the walls of the gym. Once they get there, the partners will lift up the scrap paper to reveal the exercise card underneath. The partners will look to see if the exercise on the card on the wall matches something they have on their bingo board. If it matches, the partner pair needs to perform that exercise for the amount of time/number of repetitions stated. Once the pair completes the exercise, they can make an “X” over that exercise on their bingo board. If there is no match (i.e. that exercise is not on their bingo card), the pair doesn’t need to do that exercise. Each time the group goes to a new card that is taped on the wall, they will take turns choosing. The group is trying to get 5 of their bingo boxes “X”ed off in a straight line, a horizontal line or a diagonal line. Once they get 5 in a row, the group will yell BINGO and the teacher will go over to that group and ask to see certain exercises that they have already done. The teacher will then ask them to see if they can keep going to get a 2nd BINGO somewhere on their board.
