This file includes two choices for an exit ticket. Both exit tickets compare the molecule speed and/or spacing of solids, liquid, and gases. The first page is a harder exit ticket that asks students to complete a table by drawing and writing to describe the differences. The second exit ticket is easier, asking students simply to choose which state of matter matches the description given. The pictures there can easily be removed to make it a bit harder. The way I used these was to give the harder exit ticket (the table) first. On the second day, any students that did not get that one correct had a mini-lesson to reteach them, then were asked to complete the multiple choice exit ticket to "exit" the small group. Once they had done that, I asked them to go back and fix their original exit ticket for points.
