Do you need a quick way to check for understanding?
Do you have some room parents that need a task? Let them organize a yearly set of these exit tickets so they'll be ready for any lesson.
I love using these quick math assessments to get immediate feedback on how well my students grasped the day’s math lesson. I used to pass out index cards and students would answer a question from the board. But now, these handy Math Exit Tickets give you a complete resource for the year. There are 130 tickets with at least 4 tickets for each 3rd Grade CC standard (some standards have more than 4 tickets).
I've also included exit tickets for key 3rd grade math vocabulary terms.
Use these in your interactive notebooks or on their own. They're a good way to refine your students' vocabularies and to get them using precise terms.
Each exit ticket includes a descriptive label so that you can easily find one to match your lesson. For example, if you just taught a lesson on building multiplication arrays, you can use the Table of Contents to find specific cards on arrays. Each exit ticket also includes the common core standard.
**These can also be used in your math interactive notebooks or as test-prep task cards.**
