This exit ticket is designed for self reflection and prediction. Students are tasked with identifying the challenging aspects of the lesson, as well as parts that were easy. Lastly, students take notes on what they think will happen next.

This ticket out the door is great for exploring the behaviour or effort of a student. Students write about the things they'll STOP doing, things they'll SAVE (keep doing) and things they'll START doing.

This entrance/exit tick is based around allowing students to reflect on their prior knowledge and their current understanding. It is the familiar "3 things I learned", "2 things I already knew" and "1 thing I want to know". Simple when you need simple.
Explain, Draw, Question, Link
An exit slip designed to cover a bit of everything. Students are prompted to explain the topic to a friend, draw a diagram to illustrate the idea, list a question they may have and finally link the topic to concepts and ideas they've encountered before.

An exit ticket that is very open-ended. It tasks students with writing down the original ideas explored in class, and then to note down the new ideas that come from them. A good one for critical and creative thinking.
A ticket out the door for the teacher who has a specific vocabulary word for students to explore. The student is tasked with defining the word, illustrating it, writing the word in a sentence and then listing word associations (synonyms and antonyms).

A ticket out the door that seeks to explore the main topic of the day. With response areas for what the student "saw", what they "think" and what they "wonder". Open to student interpretation and with oodles of space for drawings to help convey ideas.
Instructions for use
Simply print as many copies as necessary for your class. Precut the slips, and then hand out a slip to each student. Provide them with 5 minutes before the end of the class to complete. Students then return the slips to you before leaving the room.
