This is something new I am trying in my classroom. I have done exit tickets before, but I needed something that was quick, but it also had to have substance. Hopefully this is it. Students get one exit ticket during the last 5-10 minutes of class, and they complete it before they leave. Then I can quickly assess where my kids are with the lesson before the next day without having to grade 120 tests or even 120 5-question quizzes. I hope you find it useful, too!
Each exit ticket has 1 question and requires students to explain their answer choice. There are 9 different questions, 1 for each of the following topics:
Moon and Earth
Day and Night
Order of the Planets
Science TEKS 3.8D, 4.8C, 5.8C, 5.8D
