Expanded Form Bingo
is a fun bingo game that you can play with your students to help them practice expanded form. It is the traditional Bingo game but with numbers written in expanded form.
Students will first create their own Bingo card by cutting and pasting the rectangles of their choice. Once their card has been created, you will call out each number (in standard form). Students will have to determine what that number is in its expanded form. If the number that you call out is on their card, then whey will cover it up on their Bingo card with a counter. The first person to get five in a row diagonally, vertically, or horizontally will call out “BINGO!” The teacher will check their card using the teacher call out sheet. If the student has all of the numbers that were called out, they win! Students will clear their cards and play again!
This bingo game comes with a blank Bingo card, the Bingo card pieces, and a teacher call out sheet and pieces.
