Description
Use the 32 game cards to create a math center for students to practice identifying decimal numbers written in expanded form and expanded notation using fractions and decimals. The cards also help reinforce and review decimals in word form and place value! The student directions include steps to play three different ways. The numbers used on the cards have been carefully selected to ensure that students are using place value skills and not just “looking at the numerals” to create equivalent matches.
Also included are interactive notebook pages, a work mat, and a STEAM project. In the project students combine math and art to create a place value mosaic. A rubric is included to allow you to score the project.
