Are you using the Expanding Expression Tool with your students? Would you like to incorporate a fun game to practice the EET skills? Look no further than the EET Companion Board Game! This game file includes a large game board and 60 game cards, picturing everyday items ready to describe! Please note: This game is not to be used in place of the EET, rather it’s used to supplement the EET, giving students practice of the EET elements. (The Expanding Expression Tool by Sara Smith should be purchased separately.)
The game board consists of 43 spaces, alternating the 7 elements of the EET. Roll a die and land on a space. Choose a card and describe the item, based on the space that you’ve landed. For instance, if you land on green (group) and choose the “ice cream cone” picture card, you would say, “An ice cream cone is in the dessert category or group.” This fun game gives students additional practice on the isolated elements of the EET.
Your students are sure to love this fun game targeting the elements of the Expanding Expression Tool!
